Chip Seal Program

Chip seal work will be performed on Douglas County roadways starting on Monday, July 29, 2018 and continuing thru the mid-September. Work will take place Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, depending upon weather and materials availability. Traffic in the work areas will be controlled by flaggers. Please proceed with caution and obey all posted signs, warnings and flagging instructions. Frozen Creek Culvert Replacement

  • July 9 - September 30, 2019 - North Myrtle Rd (County Road #15) near Frozen Creek Road is restricted to a one lane detour for repairs. Advance warning notices and traffic delineation are in place to notify the motoring public of the lane closures and detours. Motorists are asked to expect brief delays in the project area. Please always obey the cone zone and keep safety in mind for our construction workers, and be mindful of equipment staging on the roadway.


Safety of the traveling public is always a high priority. Please use caution when traveling in the area, utilize alternative routes whenever possible, and follow and obey all posted signs, warnings, and flagging instructions.
